Nathaniel Bassey starts November edition

Will you be joining this month’s worship movement?

According to the singer, songwriter and Pastor, this new challenge will span through the first 21 days of this month. It has been tagged “Open Heavens”.

It started by 12 AM this morning with a lot of participants.

Unlike the previous monthly challenge, which was only streamed live, there will be a 21-day fasting and prayer session at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), The Oasis, Victoria Island, Lagos.

It will hold daily by 5 pm — 6 pm.

There will also be a Hallelujah Festival to round up the challenge. This will hold in Abuja on November 21, 2017, from 10 pm to 1 am.

Meanwhile, the first challenge got the eye of many including CNN, who profiled the gospel singer in an interesting article.

It highlighted the statistics, about 68,000 people on Instagram, over 50,000 on Facebook and the fact that it was the number one trend in Nigeria, according to Evolve Press.

CNN quoted Bassey saying, "I had a sense which is the leading of the spirit to praise God the whole of this month. Against the backdrop of the challenges in the world today especially in our nation, with the scourge of terrorism and the recession ... it has brought a sense of hope and respite. It is a reflection of the desire and hunger for answers and for hope."

The article was titled, 'How Nathaniel Bassey started a praise and worship movement on Instagram.'
