Islamic spiritual healers accused of turning footballer's mind against his family
The elder brother of the Togolese footballer star claims that Islamic spiritual healers are responsible for the striker's recent revelations that his mum is using juju against him.
Former African Footballer of the Year, Emmanuel Adebayor is currently at war with his mother, sisters and brothers in Togo and has reportedly chased them from one of his mansions back at home in Togo. The striker told a Ghanaian radio station, that he never chased his mum out of the house as it has been reported claiming that his mum left the house on her own. Adebayor in the interview revealed that his mum is using "juju” on him.
Kola claims that the striker has been Emmanuel Adebayor's brother claims Spurs striker has been 'brainwashed' by Islamic spiritual healers into believing their mother placed Juju curse on him.
Kola, 42, a truck driver based in Bremen, Germany, told The Sun on Sunday: “Emmanuel has been brainwashed by these Muslim alfas - spiritual men - who prophesise when he scores goals and why he is not playing well. They have convinced him his sister and mother put juju curses on him. My mother is very sad. Every day she is crying. I just talked to her on the phone and she was crying again.”
Kola claims the financial burden of the family back home has now fallen on him as he sends 400 euros a month to Alice (his sister) for their mum’s upkeep.
Kola said that the spiritual healers who are prophesying and seeing visions for his brother are fake.
“If you are really a man of God then you have to catch our mother and prove she is a witch, otherwise you are just lying to Emmanuel and taking his money,” he says.
