God wants you to have peace of mind
John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you."
In John 14:27, the Amplified Bible (AMP), Jesus tells His disciples, "Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]"
Just like He told His disciples, Jesus is still giving us peace, He still wants us to have and enjoy peace.
Now, I know some might wonder how to enjoy this peace in the face of the economic recession and other problems.
Well, we can enjoy this divine peace of mind by taking our issues to God and having faith in His ability to help us.
Taking our problems to the creator leaves our hearts open to this divine peace that God offers us.
Philippians 4:6-7 confirms this, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

This peace is so amazing because it calms us even in the worst situations, and provides us with the necessary courage and strength we need for any and every challenge.
How do we have this kind of peace?
We get this peace when we come to God with contrite hearts, when we return to our Creator, when we accept the salvation that Jesus Christ offered His life for.
Once, we confess our sins, and gain salvation, we also gain peace of mind.
Romans 5:1 says, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Divine peace is attainable once you place your total faith, trust and confidence in God.

We can have and enjoy God's peace of mind because we know the kind of God that we serve.
Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
God wants us to have this peace of mind, that can only come from Him and Him alone, so take it and enjoy it!
