Crisis 'loomed' church set to hold 4-day crusade to rebuild

Crisis loomed church, Assemblies of God set to start a 4- day spiritual crusade which will hold at the national secretariat in Enugu today. The crusade which is tagged ‘The grace to rebuild’ is aimed at reflecting on the ongoing crisis and also reconnect with God.

“God will give us the grace to rebuild because the Assemblies of God is a great denomination,” Rev Paul Emeka said.

He further added that the crisis which led to fractionalization of the church was also a moment of great lesson to the members as it did not only strengthen the resolve and belief, but in the unity to fight things that were not right.

“One great lesson we have learnt is that most people in Nigeria do not have the stamina to endure crisis or adversity and that is why evil men have their way.” he added.

Recently, Kaduna state governor, Nasir El Rufaishutdown the operations of 5 facilities owned by the Assemblies of God church due to the 2year-old crisis in the church .

The facilities shutdown includes Theological Seminary of Northern Nigeria, (TSNN), Shalom Comprehensive College, Assemblies of God Church (Nmbare) Assemblies of God Church (Jerusalem) and AGC Evangelist Hospital, all in Saminaka.
