With the advent of social media and the crazy need to feel 'in vogue'; little wonder that a lot of people now mistake being 'alone' for being 'lonely'.
A while ago; and not too long at that, people had the sense to understand when another told them; 'I want to be alone.' They understood the need for a 'me time', but not anymore which is actually crazy as people need a 'me time' once in every while, now more than ever with all the tussle going on in the world and all the 'social media' overly exaggerated standard of living.
We all need the time off allowing us to refocus on our goals, re-strategize moves and realign with purposeful living
Solitude is sometimes the answer, blocking out all sort of dramas to allow one to refocus helps.
Silence is sometimes necessary, because sometimes, that's all the answer you need.

Everyone needs a break every now and then, but sometimes, the break you need is for you to catch up with yoursel.f
There are days when silence is needed: Days needed to block out every form of distractions and gear yourself to think.
The narrative in the world today is all about more; do more, travel more, fuck more, work more, buy more: It's all more, more, more and then some more; which is quite disheartening. We often forget that more isn't equivalent to happiness and there is a place where less is more; a place called happy.
Life is often busy and most time overwhelming; so much we forget to take a moment between the hustle and bustle of it all, a moment to just be. Be it minutes, hours or a few days, time to enjoy your own company.

It's okay to want to take time off from being a parent, they are days you need that ladies or men nights out, days you don't want to be a child and speak to your parents, days to just be..
It's absolutely normal to want solitude and it's okay to enjoy it. Never let the world's narrative make you fear the sound of your own voice talking.
