Remember Seyi Sodimu’s hit song ‘Love me jeje (love me tender)’? Every now and then we come across some oldies from the past. Throwback Thursdays are always a great excuse to dig up and share some awesomeness from the old days.
‘Love me jeje’ was released in 1997. The classic love tune featuring Sherifat popularly known as Shaffy is off Sodimu’s 1998 album “Born in Afrika”.
The song received a substantial amount of airplay on radio and television in Nigeria back in the day.
The music video of the song sees Sodimu playing the role of baddie who can chat with any girl in the club.
The artist also known as Mr Jeje recently wrapped up work on the remix of his oldie ‘Love me jeje’. The new version is set to feature American singer K Michelle who will also be starring in his new music video shot by Sesan Ogunro. The visuals were filmed in Atlanta Georgia.
