Jude Okoye had earlier responded to a report by Soundcity which stated that they have refused to air Psquare's video due to a booking arrangement gone wrong. He made a number of allegations via twitter which included blackmail.
In response to this, Soundcity, in a statement published on their official website, refuted the claim, explaining that their refusal to work with Psquare is a reciprocative move after Psquare failed to work with their brand by performing for them.
"What Blackmail? You decided not to work with our brand, we decided not to work with your brand by withdrawing your videos from our channel and completely stopped doing business with you. Not sure that’s what ‘Blackmail’ means. You took a decision, we too ours too. Simple."
