Nomoreloss (real names Olumuyiwa Osinuga), the singer and talented songwriter died a year ago (Monday, March 21, 2016). And in remembrance, Pulse is delving into one of his greatest collaborations ever - 'Ehen' - which he recorded with veteran rapper, Ruggedman.

Nomoreloss entered public consciousness in 2002 when he featured in Ruggedman's classic cut 'Ehen'. Prior to that he was a presenter on the music TV show ''.

“It was as if everything was preordained. I just watched who’s voice, and I saw Nomoreloss doing that Hausa accent thing. I just it and said this wouldn’t be bad, and he would add some comedy to the hook.” Ruggedman said.

Nomoreloss and Ruggedman later met in Maryland, Lagos, at a club named Lords Club. They became acquainted, and worked on the song together, although they didn’t record.

“I made him sign a verbal undertaking, because I had a feeling this song would cause trouble. In case you don’t want, don’t do. But if you want, ehen.”

The song was created, and they both performed it live on stage, accompanied by a live band. The show was headlined by Lagbaja, at Motherland, Lagos. From the massive reception by the audience, Ruggedman was convinced that the song needed recording, and that was his conviction to record.
