Singer returns as 'The Voice' coach for 9th season

The three-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, replaces Christina Aguilera after she joined in the seventh season.

Gwen Stefani replaced Christina Aguilera on The Voice in the seventh season

Internationally acclaimed singer, Gwen Stefani will return to NBC’s for its ninth season as one of the coaches.

On Wednesday, June 10, 2-15. NBC announced that Stefani would be returning with other coaches that include Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams.

The three-time Grammy winner who has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, replaced Christina Aguilera after she joined in the seventh season.

Scheduled to kick off in September 2015, Carson Daly will return as host for the series.
