South African rapper joins Burna Boy in ranting over MAMAs nominations

Just like Burna, AKA lamented on his absence of his album on the Album of the Year category despite its success in South Africa, UK and other African countries.

 

South African rapper, AKA has joined Nigerian singer, Burna Boy barely seven days after MTV Base, organisers of the MTV Africa Music Awards 2015 rolled out list of nominees for the awards ceremony.

Just like Burna, AKA lamented on his absence of his album on the Album of the Year category despite its success in South Africa, UK and other African countries.

Though AKA was nominated in the Best Male and Best Collaboration categories, he feels his relationship with the media house should have robbed off on his nominations for the Album of the Year category.
