Singer gets honoured by Ambode

Lagos State Governor Ambode on behalf of All Africa Music Awards presents the music icon with a certificate of appreciation for his selfless support towards the growth of music and the award show.

2Baba who recently got conferred with an honorary title in Edo state for his selfless service to the betterment of the youth has been honoured again by the governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi  Ambode with a Certificate of Appreciation, for his selfless support to the growth of Africa's biggest awards, AFRIMA ( All African Music Award ). The governor presented the certificate on behalf of AFRIMA.

2Baba is being celebrated for his long standing commitment to the success of AFRIMA since its inception in 2014 and more notably due to the dedication he displayed to the AFRIMA course playing hosting duties at the maiden edition of the awards despite the loss of his father weeks to the event.

The singer along with other AFRIMA delegates visited the governor to issue him a certificate of hosting as plans kick off for the 2016 edition of the notable event. 2Baba also used the opportunity to formally invite the governor for the upcoming Buckwyld 'n' Breathless: The Disruption concert which is set to hold on September 3, 2016.

The celebrated singer recently collaborated with M.I Abaga on a track titled 'Babylon', a song that was aimed at encouraging people to persevere in the face of challenges life throws at them.
