Most ads are annoying and unavoidable. According to ad agency Red Crow Marketing , the average person living in a city 30 years ago saw up to 2,000 ad messages a day, compared with 4,000 to 10,000 ads today.
We compiled print ads that are, in fact, not a waste of time. They're creative, charming, and have clear messages. While some come from relatively unknown companies or products, some were made by marketing powerhouses Volkswagen, McDonald's, FedEx, and Apple.
