Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, earlier in the week stated that there were hosts of friendly games lined up for the team later in the year, which would assist in upcoming competitive games.
"We have made contact with top executives in the German FA about a friendly, so we could play them", he said.
The Eagles coach further revealed that the team will be playing teams which are ranked above it on the FIFA rankings.
Nigeria will be heavily involved in AFCON 2019 and World Cup 2018 qualifiers later in the year, starting from the AFCON qualifiers against South Africa on June 10.
Nigeria currently placed 40th on FIFA’s latest release, and have dropped a friendly match with Congo Brazzaville (84th) in favour of the higher-ranked Burkina Faso (35th).
The proposed friendly match with the Stallions of Burkina Faso would be played in France, and it is planned as a test game and part of the team’s preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa later in the year.
