Former FBI-Director James Comey recounted his first time meeting President Donald Trump in an exclusive interview with ABC News that aired Sunday night.

"My impression was he looked exactly like he did on television, except he looked shorter to me than he did on television, but otherwise exactly the same," Comey told George Stephanopoulos, adding that he didn't know whether his observation was "good or bad."

Comey continued, describing Trump's trademark qualities.

"He had impressively coiffed hair," Comey said. "It looks to be all his. I confess, I stared at it pretty closely and my reaction was, 'It must take a heck of a lot of time in the morning, but it's impressively coiffed.'"

Comey added that Trump's "tie was too long, as it always is" and made note of his physical appearance.

"He looked slightly orange up close with small white-half moons under his eyes, which I assume are from tanning goggles," Comey said.

Comey also noted Trump's hands, saying they were "average size."

"I say that in my book, because I'm trying to be honest, because that's the truth — there had been all this controversy and mocking about hand size, I can't remember the details. But as I shook his hand I made a note to check the size, and it seemed like he had average-sized hands," Comey said.
