Nigeria's Buhari insists he will not relent until Leah Sharibu is free
Meanwhile, President Buhari had said it is disheartening that one of the girls, Leah Sharibu, remains in captivity.

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari has insisted on not relenting until the only schoolgirl from Dapchi community, who is still been held by Boko Haram terrorists is freed.
Leah was held back by the insurgents when 105 girls were returned to Dapchi for her refusal to be converted to a Muslim.
The young Leah, according to her mates, had refused the offer to be converted to a Muslim and regain her freedom saying she will stick to her faith - Christianity.
Meanwhile, President Buhari had said "it is disheartening that one of the girls, Leah Sharibu, remains in captivity."
" I assure that I am as committed to her freedom as I was to the girls’ freedom when all 110 of them were in captivity. We will do everything in our power to bring Leah back safely," Buhari said.
The President also reached out to Leah's parent saying his heart goes out to them.
"My heart goes out to Leah’s parents, who must watch other parents rejoice while their own daughter remains in captivity. It is my responsibility, under the Constitution of Nigeria, to protect all Nigerians—and I will always strive to do that. Leah will not be abandoned."

Meanwhile Nata Sharibu had expressed happiness that his daughter didn't deny her faith even in the face of death.
In an interview on a radio programme, Sharibu had said he is happy his daughter refused to deny her faith despite been held captive against her will.
"I am happy because my daughter did not denounce her faith. They refused to release her because she refused to convert to Islam," he said.
VP Osinbajo's aide warns against religious wedges over Leah's abduction
Laolu Akande, the spokesperson to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had said the President's resolve not to relent until Leah is found is a solemn promise.
He warned religious extremists not to use the opportunity to create panic and disaffection amongst the populace.
"As the President has said the FG has not & will not relent until Leah Sharibu is free. It's a solemn promise. Let no one use the situation to draw religious wedges or promote a divisive narrative. It's no use. Watch it, Leah & her family shall also rejoice by God's special grace!"
