The experience of buying a Tesla vehicle is very different from buying a vehicle from other brands.
For one, all Teslas are purchased online, even when you visit Tesla stores in person.
Here are six main differences between buying a Tesla and another vehicle.

Buying a car is a relatively straight-forward process.

You go to a retailer, compare prices and mileage, and try to find an available color and interior trim combo that works. Besides worrying about a credit score and availability, car buyers don't have to consider too much else.

But not if you're buying a Tesla .

Along with trying to revolutionize the automobile industry with the electric car, CEO Elon Musk wanted to revolutionize the car-buying experience. For better or worse, buying a Tesla is a very different process from buying a gas-powered car, from how you select the car to the kinds of additional costs involved.
