Nigerian Twitter reacts to the first trailer of the Lion King live-action remake

Disney has just released the first trailer for the 2019 film.

On November 22, 2018, everyone got to see a bit of the live-action reboot of the hit 1994 film for the first time.

The first trailer, which is narrated by James Earl Jones, who plays king Mufasa in both the 1994 original and this 2019 reboot features one of the most iconic parts -  the moment the young cub Simba, Mufasa's heir, is revealed on Pride Rock.

Currently, Lion King is trending on Twitter with over 320k tweets.

The remake has a star-studded cast including Beyonce, Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Seth Rogen.

It is set to hit theatres on July 19, 2019.
