It turns out you can get a Michelin-starred lunch in the capital for as little at £19, including a glass of wine.

Two of these Michelin-starred dishes will only cost you £20.

Michelin-starred dining may seem out of reach, but it doesn't have to be. A surprising amount of top-rated restaurants actually offer reasonally priced set menus, especially at lunchtime.

Business Insider teamed up with discount website Vouchercloud to take a look at the top restaurants in London — according to the Michelin Guide — where you can enjoy the best cuisine in the world at an affordable price.

Turns out you can get a Michelin-starred lunch in the capital for as little at £19, including a glass of wine.

Galvin at Windows, Mayfair — £30 for two courses.

One of two Galvin restaurants on the list, the Menu du Jour costs £30 for two courses or £35 for three, and gives you the choice of dishes like poached cod Lyonnaise with sautéed potatoes, capers, and beurre noisette; coq au vin with pancetta, braised shallot, mushroom and red wine jus; and pink praline tart with Gariguette strawberries and black pepper meringue.

Alyn Williams at The Westbury, Mayfair — £30 for three courses.

A simple but succulent menu, £30 could get you charantais melon with ricotta, black olive, and Iberica ham; suckling pig with walnut gnocchi, white asparagus, honey and mustard; and whey pannacotta with raspberries, Japanese mint, and goat’s milk sorbet.

Veeraswamy — £29.50 for two courses.

Dig into lamb samosas, seabass sukhem, and coconut and caramelised banana pudding. Two courses for £29.50 or three for £34.

Pied à Terre, Bloomsbury — £29.50 for two courses.

This two or three-course set lunch has a choice of starters, mains, and desserts, unlimited freshly baked breads and a selection of canapes included.

Texture, Regent's Park and Marylebone — £29 for two courses.

The stunning Texture restaurant offers divine dishes like scottish salmon to start, Iberico pork jowl, and coconut dark chocolate cake to finish. Go for all three courses for £33.50.

Outlaw's at The Capital, Chelsea — £29 for two courses.

Stick with two courses or opt for three for £33, and pick from a menu featuring loads of fish. The Cornish fish soup and hake with roast chicken dressing are sounding pretty good to us.

Galvin La Chapelle, Spitalfields — £29 for two courses and a glass of wine.

The Menu du Chef at the Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle features the likes of charred fillet of mackerel, compressed cucumber and pickled Tokyo turnip to start; hand-made linguine with St. George's mushroom and nettles; and pineapple upside down cake with coconut custard and tonka ice cream. £29 for two courses or £34.50 for three.

Benares, Mayfair — £29 for two courses.

Another Indian on the list, Benares earned its star for dishes like masala fried chipirones with sweet sour mango dressing; avadhi lamb kofta with ginger and fennel; and masala chai crème caramel. You can enjoy two courses for £29 or three for £35 from Monday to Saturday, 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, or 5:30 p.m to 6.30 p.m. for dinner.

Ametsa, Belgravia — £29 for three courses.

Start with tapas like Duck ‘Gyoza’ Salad, move on to the likes of pork cheek in black sauce, and finish with Spanish cheeses at the one-starred Ametsa in COMO The Halkin hotel.

Murano, Mayfair — £28 for two courses.

Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Mayfair restaurant serves up Italian fare like spinach and potato gnocchi, wild garlic, and mushroom; mains like carnaroli risotto with peas, ham, sage, and parsley; and desserts including caramelised Amalfi lemon tart, £28 for two courses or £33 for three.

Seven Park Place, St James's — £27.50 for two courses.

Treat yourself to a starter of poached egg, asparagus, and Ibérico ham with shallot and truffle dressing, a main of roast loin of pork with caramelised apple puree, and a dessert of dark chocolate mousse cake, £27.50 for two courses or £32.50 for three.

Quilon, Victoria — £27 for two courses.

The menu here is huge, so this is a great deal. We like the look of the lobster broth and chicken roast (pictured above).

Amaya, Belgravia — £26 for three courses.

Offering the equivalent of three courses, the Amaya Platter at the one-starred Belgravia spot, consists of six tasting portions served on a platter as well as a dessert for £26 per person.

Ellory, London Fields — £26 for two courses.

Check out the daily changing menu at Ellory, where you can have two dishes for a reasonable £26 or splurge on three for £30.

Gymkhana, Mayfair — £25 for two courses.

From 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday to Friday, get two or three courses (£25 or £30) at this one-star Michelin Indian, including mouthwatering dishes like duck egg bhurji with lobster and malabar paratha, or the kid goat keema with salli and pao, finished with a saffron and pistachio kulfi falood.

Social Eating House, Soho — £22.50 for two courses.

From Monday to Saturday between 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., this one-starred Soho joint offers two or three courses (£22.50 or £26.50), or £29.50 and £33.50 respectively with a cocktail included. Think egg, asparagus, and chicken to start; macaroni and cheese with shaved mushroom, and chocolate marquise, kumquat, sesame; and crué de cacao to finish.

Harwood Arms, Fulham — £22.50 for two courses.

From Tuesday to Friday, get the daily starter, a main course, and a dessert from the Harwood Arms' blackboard, priced at two courses for £22.50 and three courses for £27.50.

Kitchen W8, Kensington — £22 for two courses.

Available Monday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2.30 p.m., the Michelin star at Kitchen W8 delivers starters like cured mackerel, smoked eel, cucumber, dill and borage; mains like gilt head sea bream, fregola sarda, squid, and monks beard; and, for £25, dessert options. We'll have the yogurt parfait, white chocolate, blueberries, and lemon, please.

Prices are set to go up on June 1, from £25 for three courses to £28.

Tamarind, Mayfair — £21.50 for two courses.

Go for the seasonal lunch menu at this one-star Michelin joint, where starters include celeriac and lentil cakes with ginger, red onions, fennel, and spiced corn chutney or grilled scallops with smoked pepper chutney and asparagus.

Mains can be favourites like chicken tikka tossed with peppers, tomato, and dried fenugreek leaves. Paying £24.50 can get you three courses, where you can enjoy the likes of rice pudding with coconut and hazelnut ice cream for dessert.

Trishna, Marylebone — £20 for two dishes.

Two dishes for £20 or three for £26 — or even more if you're hungry — has us lusting after the Trishna seafood salad, the aloo chat, and the meen manga curry.

The Ninth, Bloomsbury — £19 for two courses.

Indulge in the likes of king prawn macaroni and duck, green beans, and foie gras at this one-star Michelin in Bloomsbury. You can also opt for three courses for £22.

Lima Fitzrovia — £19 for one course, a side, and glass of wine.

The Heritage Lunch menu at the one-starred Peruvian Lima includes the catch of the day, fresh from Billingsgate Market, or tempting lamb and chicken dishes, with your choice of side.
