The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is the second member of the technologically advanced, ultra-comfortable, fuel-efficient and environment-friendly 787 family that Ethiopian will be receiving.

African Airline of the Year in 2015 and 2016 has been on an expedition spree in recent years.

Last month the airline confirmed it was negotiating with the Nigerian government to take over the bankrupt Arik Air, one of the largest private airlines in Nigeria in an effort to penetrate and lock the West African market.

The Airline which is also the largest in the continent with a fleet of 93 aircrafts, currently flies to more than 100 international destinations in five continents using modern and youngest fleet, 20 of which are B787 Dreamliner.

Since it was founded 71 years ago, the airline has grown to become Africa’s most successful airline story and continues to offer unrivalled service in terms of efficiency and operations.
