Singer talks about the direction of his music with new label

The soft spoken singer who revealed he recorded a hook for American acts Pitbull and Florida intends to stay original with the type of music he does.

Singer Ayo Jay who recently got signed to Sony Music RCA records speaks to Pulse Nigeria about what he’s been up to, how he got signed to the label, and the requirements expected of him from the deal.

The singer affirms and explains why he thinks his deal with RCA records is well deserving amidst the criticisms of him not deserving of it.

He reveals he recorded a hook for American rapper Pitbull and American Hip hop recording artist Florida before returning to Nigeria, even though that brand of music, speaking of rap, is not the direction with which he is taking his music as agreed  with his new label.

The singer said he will be  sticking to his Afro vibe type of music, mixing English with pidgin in his lyrics, that Nigerians can relate to and still make music that they can relate to abroad ensuring his label makes money.

Jay finally talked about his album being due very soon to drop in a couple months time and about there being a big twist to his popular hit song 'Your number' which fans should watch out for.
