<ul><li><a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk">Elon Musk</a> was questioned about his antisemitic comments on X during the New York Times' DealBook Summit.</li><li>Musk repeatedly said that advertisers can go&nbsp;"fuck" themselves.</li><li>He also appeared to call out Disney CEO Bob Iger after making the statement.</li></ul>

His comments came after he was questioned about recent posts on the platform, which were <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/facebook-asana-cofounder-elon-musk-should-resign-endorsing-antisemitic-tweet-2023-11">criticized for being antisemitic</a> and led to advertisers leaving the platform en masse.

"If someone is going to blackmail me with money, go f*ck yourself," he said, as the room responded with nervous laughter.

Representatives for X did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and later in the interview, Musk appeared to walk back his original post, calling it "foolish."

Earlier in the day, interviewer Andrew Ross Sorkin asked <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/disney-not-selling-abc-networks-bob-iger-insists-2023-11">Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney</a>, about the company's move to pull advertisements on X.

"We know Elon is larger than life in many respects, and that his name is very much tied to the companies he either has founded or he owns, whether it's Tesla or SpaceX or now X," Iger said, though he did add that he has respect for Musk. "By him taking the position that he took in quite a public manner, we just felt that the association with that position and Elon Musk and X was not necessarily a positive one for us."

Iger said that while some of Disney's properties, like ABC and ESPN, were still using X as a platform to communicate, he was not revisiting the decision to pull advertisements.

Disney is one of a number of companies pulling its ads from the platform, including IBM, Apple, and Lionsgate.

The decision to pull ads follows not just Musk's tweet, but also a <a href="https://www.mediamatters.org/twitter/musk-endorses-antisemitic-conspiracy-theory-x-has-been-placing-ads-apple-bravo-ibm-oracle">report</a> from the non-profit Media Matters that showed that their ads were being placed next to white supremacist and antisemitic content. Musk has since filed a defamation lawsuit about the report.

Over the weekend, the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/24/business/x-elon-musk-advertisers.html">New York Times reported</a> that X may lose up to $75 million from the advertiser exodus. X contended that only $11 million was at risk.

No matter the exact amount, the retreating advertisers adds to the list of woes for <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-undermining-linda-yaccarino-x-twitter-brand-safety-advertising-2023-11">X's CEO Linda Yaccarino</a>, who was in the room on Wednesday at the DealBook summit and has been trying to convince advertisers for months that X is a safe platform.

The lawsuit was filed just before New York's Adult Survivors Act was set to expire.

The law specific to the state allows adults who say they were victims of sexual abuse to file a civil lawsuit and seek damages regardless of the statute of limitations.

The suit is dated Monday, but the New York State Courts e-filing system indicates that the complaint was received Wednesday.

A woman, who is only identified as Jane Doe, alleged in the suit that the incident occurred on August 26, 2015, while she and her friend were at a rooftop bar in Manhattan called Catch NYC &amp; Roof.

After she asked for a photo, Foxx responded with "Sure baby, anything for you," per the suit. He then proceeded to grope her until her friend came looking for her, according to the lawsuit.

The woman said she suffered extreme emotional distress as a result of Foxx's actions and was "rendered sick, sore, lame and disabled," which required her to seek medical care, the lawsuit said.

At the time the woman says the incident occurred, Foxx was in a relationship with Katie Holmes, according to outlets that reported the pair had broken up in 2019.

This year, Foxx spent time in the hospital due to a <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/jamie-foxx-hospitalized-medical-complication-condition-update-2023-5">"medical complication"</a> that arose while he was filming "Back in Action" in April, his daughter said.

Since then, Foxx's friends and family have alluded to his hospital stay, but all parties have been extremely quiet about the details. In July, Foxx said his emergency took him to <a data-link-role-code="open_new_tab" href="https://www.insider.com/jamie-foxx-provides-first-public-health-update-holding-back-tears-2023-7">"hell and back,"</a> but did not say what had happened.

Representatives for Foxx, Catch, and the attorney for the woman who filed the complaint did not immediately return Business Insider's request for comment.

<ul><li>Sam Altman is returning as the CEO of OpenAI.</li><li>He was fired from the job on Friday, kicking off a weekend of chaos in Silicon Valley.</li><li>OpenAI said they'd have a new initial board of Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.</li></ul>

The <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/everything-you-need-to-know-about-chat-gpt-2023-1">ChatGPT</a> maker announced Altman's return in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday morning. OpenAI said they "reached an agreement in principle" for Altman's return.

The company also announced it will welcome "a new initial board" consisting of Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo. Taylor, a former Salesforce executive, will serve as board chair.

The news comes after a <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/sam-altman-microsoft-openai-ceo-mess-why-it-matters-chatgpt-2023-11">chaotic weekend</a> in Silicon Valley.

Altman was fired as OpenAI's CEO on Friday. OpenAI's board said in a <a href="https://openai.com/blog/openai-announces-leadership-transition">statement</a> that Altman "was not consistently candid in his communications with the board" but did not give further details.

His return to the job comes just days after Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Altman will be <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/microsoft-has-hired-former-openai-ceo-sam-altman-2023-11">leading Microsoft's new advanced AI research team</a>.

Shortly after OpenAI broke the news, Altman <a href="https://twitter.com/sama/status/1727207458324848883">wrote</a> on X that when he decided to join Microsoft, he thought "it was clear that was the best path for me and the team."

Nadella has also commented on Altman's return, <a href="https://twitter.com/satyanadella/status/1727207661547233721">writing</a> that they are "encouraged by the changes to the OpenAI board."

"We believe this is a first essential step on a path to more stable, well-informed, and effective governance," Nadella wrote.

Representatives for OpenAI did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider sent outside regular business hours.
