No fewer than 13 persons have been detained by the Nigerian Army over illegal possession of ballot papers and bribe taking during Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Col. Aminu Iliyasu, spokesman of the 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, disclosed this in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Port Harcourt.
Atiku gave the assurance while addressing thousands of party faithful at a presidential rally at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Monday.
Prof. Nelson Brambaifa, Acting Managing Director of the commission, made this known in a statement by the commissions Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Ibitoye Abosede, on Tuesday in Port Harcourt.
