All The 'Bachelor In Paradise' Couples That Are Still Together In 2020

"I don't know exactly what happened," Hannah Ann says on the latest episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. "Nothing really surprises me about Peter."

The Bachelor winnerI mean, seriously, Hannah Ann won the nightsat down with Bachelorette alums and podcast hosts Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay as soon as she was done confronting Peter on After The Final Rose, and she's spilling some interesting insight on the timeline that led to their breakup.

<h1> They got engaged the week before Thanksgiving. </h1>

The two got engaged on the final day of filming, which Hannah Ann says was the week before Thanksgiving. Before Peter's Bachelor season premiered in the first week of January, Hannah Ann says her then-fianc "downplayed his feelings" toward de facto runner-up Madison Prewett and assured her that all his exes were in the past. "He always made sure to reassure me that I was his person, that I was the love of his life, and that he was always going to choose me," she says. But "as the season started to roll, things weren't adding up."

<h1> Peter asked to talk to Hannah Brown in early January. </h1>

In the beginning of January, Peter told Hannah Ann that he wanted to reach out to another ex, former Bachelorette Hannah Brown, and get closurea moment that Hannah Ann alluded to on After The Final Rose. "He tried to convince me that I should feel comfortable with that, and I'm like, 'We're engaged!'" Hannah Ann explains.

And from Hannah Ann's perspective, she wasn't totally sure about the state of Peter and Hannah B.'s relationship when that all went down. "Listen, I wasn't on that group date with him and Hannah Brown," she says. "I had not seen that episode of them all cozy-cozy, up on a couch, him crying, and her possibly coming back in the house. I had no idea! Like, none. And so when he brought that up, I'm like, 'Wait, what? I knew she came back in the season, but can you explain more?'"

Hannah Ann says that was "the first red flag" in her engagement to Peter. "This is something that I feel like, you don't seem like you're ready for any kind of commitment, let alone an engagement," she says. "And I was questioning my own self, because he was trying to convince me that that was something that he needed. And I'm like, 'I don't quite feel settled with that.'"

<h1> A week after that, Peter broke up with Hannah Ann in Los Angeles. </h1>

The following week, Hannah Ann was set to visit Peter in Los Angeles, and she knew things weren't quite right between them. She says he told her (AND her parents!) that he was working through "unresolved issues" as the show began airing.

"I'm like, 'What unresolved issues? I'm by your side. I gave you my word to be by your side,'" Hannah Ann says. "His unresolved issues were having to watch back the showagain, he completely downplayed it, completely. And when I showed up to the breakup, that was the very first time I heard him say, 'I can't give you my full heart.'"

The on-camera breakup was especially blindsiding for Hannah Ann because she had straight-up asked Peter before her arrival if he was going to dump herand she thought everything was going to be okay. "I said, 'Hey, if you're wanting to end things, can you give me a little bit of a heads up? I'll be fine, trust me,'" she says. "We actually had talked that morning [and decided] that we weren't going to break up, that we were going to work through it."

While Peter may have gotten more confused watching his season of The Bachelor, Hannah Ann says seeing everything play out on TV has actually given her the clarity she needed to get over him. "I'm able to see how he is consistently indecisive and confused, and who wants to be with that? That doesn't make me secure in being with him," she says. "It's really helped me move forward, because I know I deserve more than someone just half loving me. I deserve someone who's going to give me 100 percent."

All The 'Bachelor In Paradise' Couples That Are Still Together In 2019

If there's one thing every fan of Bachelor In Paradise knows, it's that you can't mention the ABC show without saying "drama" in the same sentence. (See, I just did it!) And season six had its fair share of name-calling, backstabbing, and, of course, tears. But one thing Paradise is not about is violence, which is why this season's intense fight between Jordan Kimball and Christian Estrada was such a BFD. And, according to the show's bartender, Wells Adamswho witnessed the entire fightit shouldn't have happened at all.

To recap, for the uninitiated: Cast members Nicole Lopez-Alvar and Clay Harbour had been getting along swimmingly until the suave Christian came along and swept her off her feet. Former pro football player Clay, who avoids confrontation like carbs, backed off when Christian set up a festive date night for Nicole complete with a piatabut Jordan wasn't going to accept that for his buddy Clay.

Despite Clay telling Jordan he absolutely did not need to get involved at all whatsoever, Jordan confronted Christian and Nicole mid-date, tearing the piata down before body slamming Christian to the ground. The two threw punches until production broke them up and host Chris Harrison sent them packing.

TL;DR: Jordan and Christian, two adult men, got themselves kicked out of Paradise over a piata.

Think that sounds ridiculous? Yeah, so does Wells. "It was pretty scary, and just so un-Paradise-y," he tells Women's Health. "It seemed like some other trashy reality TV show."

Wells, who's been behind the bar for three seasons now, says he immediately had flashbacks to last season, when Jordan stole a stuffed dog from David "Chicken Guy" Ravitz and threw it into the ocean. But the difference is that in that scenario, Chicken Guy was "kind of in on the joke, and really just messing with Jordan," Wells explains. "This time, Christian just wasn't understanding what was happening, and it got heated really fast."

Since this isn't Jordan's first time stirring the pot in Paradise, some fans were left wondering if he only made the trip down there for soundbites and screen time. And from seasoned vet Wells' POV, the answer is... well, maybe.

"I think that he came there with the intention to find love and everything, but desperate men will do kind of desperate things," Wells says. And once Jordan realized he hadn't made any strong connections with this season's castand probs wasnt going to live up to his self-appointed "Mayor of Paradise" titlehis intentions might have shifted.

"I think maybe there was a, Well, Im gonna stir stuff up somehow kind of thought," Wells notes. "Im not in his head, but I would imagine it was something to that effect."

Wells isn't the only Paradise cast member who thinks Jordan likes to stir the pot. Here's what BiP alums Astrid and Kevin had to say about the infamous fight:

By the way, if you're reading this as a wannabe Paradise cast member and think picking a fight is a great strategy to raise your profile, you miiight want to think again. Wells says that IRL, the fight was legitimately "really bad" and the scariest moment of the season. "Someone couldve really gotten hurt," he says. "If you think coming on the show and doing something like that is ever a good look, it's just not. That was stupid."

After all, the fight got both Jordan and Christian a one-way limo ride back home thanks to the show's zero-tolerance policy. "You cant fight in Paradise. It's just not what the show is about," Wells says. "If you do that, you gotta go."

...at least until the reunion special, that is, where Jordan and Christian are expected to face off yet again in front of a live studio audience. (Here's hoping producers sat them pretty far apart.) Watch it all unfold on September 17 at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Why 'Bachelor in Paradise' Bartender Wells Adams Thinks Jordan Really Body-Slammed Christian

"For me, it wasn't an aesthetic [goal], like, 'I want to have my triceps on point!'" Krystal says. "We made sure we really took time to decompress and drop stress. Our biggest focus was getting our minds right."

To achieve that, Krystal says she's been diligent with a morning routine of silent meditation and journaling, which she said prepared her to walk down the aisle more than any workout could. "As we were prepping for the wedding, it really became eye-opening for us how important it was to make a path of personal development and growth," the reality TV star explains.

But the couple, whose wedding will air on Tuesday night's episode of Bachelor in Paradise, are longtime nutrition and fitness fanatics, so they did make slight tweaks to their typical routine to make sure they felt their best on the big day.

"We eliminated processed foods and incorporated as much fresh foods as possible," Chris says. "We also limited sodium intake to make sure that we're not bloated and affecting our blood pressure."

They also completely cut out alcohol, which can be tough when you just got engaged on television and have people sending you champagne at every restaurant you go to. This admittedly wasn't that hard for Chris (who Krystal says "is not a big drinker at all").

Not wanting to be rude, the couple would take a sipnothing more. "Ultimately," Krystal says, "it comes down to how determined are you? How important is your goal to you?"

The actual hardest part about their pre-wedding period? Since they had to keep their relationship under wraps until last season's Paradise finale, they couldn't wait to go on dates in public all the timeKrystal calls it "reverse dating"but when you're trying to stick to a routine, eating out can be tricky.

"Before we lived together, we were both very diligent about meal prepping," Krystal says. "Now, we like to go out and eat out, but we're really conscious of eating really healthy. Something as simple as cutting out oils and seasoning is really huge."

But it's not all health food and no indulgences. The couple's regular Friday night date nights always include a cocktail and some dessert. "[We don't] feel guilty, because we deserve it," she says.

"I like it because I'm moving every muscle," she says. "I'm maximizing my time and burning calories. I like feeling breathless."

And if you're wondering if this power couple works out together, they definitely dono matter where they are. "We'll be in hotels, and we'll set up our little circuit, set up a timer, and just run through four to five exercises, three rounds, one to two times," Krystal says.

Chris can confirmit's not an easy program. "She really loves to get people exhausted," the sports radio host admits. "If you're not breathless and you're not exhausted, then you're definitely not doing a Coach Krystal workout."

Here’s What The ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Cast Ate For Breakfast While Filming

If former Bachelorette and bride-to-be Rachel Lindsay needs an extra boost of motivation to stick to her healthy lifestyle goals, she doesn't need to look any further than her fianceBryan Abasolo, her final pick from the show two years ago, is a certified personal trainer.

"It's one thing when youre by yourself, but it's another thing when youre sitting there with somebody who gets up in the morning, goes to work out, [and] is on this strict diet," she tells Women's Health. "It's definitely an inspiration to be able to be like, okay, hes getting up and doing it. I could be doing it, too."

When Rachel was looking to feel her very best ahead of her beachside bachelorette party in Costa Rica, she says Bryan helped her switch over to a paleo diet. The restrictive <a href="https://www.womenshealthmag.com/food/g19739129/paleo-food-list/" id="265b5f74-050f-3da1-a2bd-5b2bd01b6c5d"> eating plan </a> includes cutting out processed sugars and carbs and instead focusing on eating more fruits, veggies, nuts, and meat.

"I did it straight, without cheating, for two weeks," Rachel says. "Then I had to do something where I had some rice, which is my favorite thing to have."

But Rachel's being realistic about sticking with a paleo plan after her wedding this summer. "I think I'll do a modified diet where I dont want to just cut out rice and pasta altogether, so maybe limit it to once a week," she says. "If you let me do it, I'll have it every single day!"

When she's on her healthy eating game, Rachel considers salmon and pork chops her favorite things to make. She also makes a "really good Brussels sprout dish" drizzled with a balsamic vinegar and honey glaze.

On season 15 of The Bachelorette, star Hannah Brown basically broke Twitter when she declared that she'd "had sex in a windmill"four timeswith her fellow fantasy suite-goer Peter Weber. And as someone who's been in Hannah's place before, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is in her corner.

"I supported Hannah 100 percent for talking about her fantasy suites the way that she wanted to," Rachel told Women's Health at an event with The Knot celebrating her upcoming wedding to her final pick from season 13, Bryan Abasolo. "She was honest about that. Isnt that what we assume happens anyway? So why is it a problem that shes being forthcoming about it?"

During Rachel's season of The Bachelorette, there was definitely chatter about her overnight dates, too, but not in quite the same way as Hannah's. Rachel has opened up before about how she went into her fantasy suites with Bryan, Eric Bigger, and Peter Kraus armed with a list of questions about everything from their faith to their credit scoresafter all, it's the only time you get over the course of the season to get to know each suitor without cameras pointed at you.

But Rachel also points out that these are looong nights."You only hear whatever version we tell you," she says. "You hear the version of me talking about my list and the questions that I asked, but we were in there for hours. Im not talking about every single hour, minute, second of what happened."

And while she knows that the idea of fantasy suite dates is "sexualized in general," she says that "technically, most of the time they are not sexual. But that's the illusion that the show gives."

This is far from the first time a Bachelorette's sexual activity on the show has come into question. Remember when Nick Viall called out Andi Dorfman after she dumped him for what happened in their fantasy suite? ("If you weren't in love with me, I'm just not sure why you made love with me" is a line forever burned into Bachelor fans' brains.) Or when Kaitlyn Bristowe faced backlash for sleeping with Nick (yes, the same one), weeks before they got to the fantasy suite? Regardless of what Hannah, or any Bachelorette, chooses to do with their time away from the cameras, Rachel says that they shouldn't be judged for it (cough cough, Luke Parker)especially when it seems like that judgment is primarily reserved for the female leads.

"I hate the double standard that exists within Bachelor nation where all of a sudden it's wrong for Hannah to talk about her sexuality," Rachel says. After all, in Hannah's case, she was just being honest about what people already assumed she had done. "Hannahs decided to confront that head on. Why is that a problem? Why is that negative? If she was a man, it wouldnt be that way."

Fortunately, Hannah's got this former Bachelorette in her corner. "Hannah did it. She owned it," Rachel says. "So more power to her."

Within five minutes of chatting with Awkwafina, it's clear she's game for anything. After a busy few years starring in Crazy Rich Asians and Ocean's Eight and snagging her own show on Comedy Central, she's taking on a totally different kind of challenge: playing an as-yet-unnamed role in Marvel's new Shang-Chi movie.

And while the actress admits she doesn't necessarily have a disciplined workout schedule at the moment, if her new movie requires superhero strength, she's going all in.

"I am up for the challenge," Awkwafina told WH at an event with <a href="http://www.hoteltonight.com" id="dd069cab-fc5b-3720-a6b2-4a01eea33f5f"> HotelTonight </a> , which she says she uses to book staycastions. "Let's do it. I wanna get jacked!"

She's also no stranger to trying out new wellness trendsif only for a couple of days.

"Recently, I did dabble a little bit in the <a href="https://www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/a19434332/what-is-the-keto-diet/" id="8008f788-2050-3669-aa9f-3144a77780dc"> keto diet </a> ," she said. "I didn't eat bread for a day. And sugar."

Though #KetoLife wasn't for her, she did end up finding a new favorite healthy snack in the (admittedly short) process.

"Broccoli. Very filling! And you can dip it in some stuffyou know, like ice cream," she joked. She also counts almonds, avocado, and watermelon as her healthy go-to's when she's hungry.

As for fitness, Awkwafina considers "lying down" to be her favorite workout (which, same), or sports that can keep her attention for more than a few minutes.

"I like basketball, or tennis, or even tag! I'll still play tag," she says. "I can't just like, blindly run at nothing. I like to run towards something, like an ice cream truck." New summer superhero workout? Check.

His interests include training in the military self-defense system of Krav Maga and going to trampoline parks (so active!), and he's been to 30 countries. We were robbed of a hometown date with Mike this season, so I think it's only fair he become The Bachelor so his adorable great-grandma can get some time in the spotlight. After all, you know he's not getting down on one knee without her approval!

<h1> Mike isn't afraid to show vulnerability, which is essential to being a good Bachelor. </h1>

Things got real for Mike in episode three when he revealed a super-personal story to Hannah about a past relationship. He had been expecting a child with his ex-girlfriend, but she miscarried in the second trimester. "I had the engagement set," he told Hannah. "I was just really ready to start a family. But, we lost our child." Mike also admitted that he wasn't as supportive of her as he could have been at the time, and "its just one thing that I could be a better man at." That couldn't have been easy to open up about, and his vulnerability earned him a rose from Hannahand pretty much solidified him as a fan favorite.

<h1> But he's also not afraid to call people out. </h1>

No, Mike didn't get along with Luke P. (Did anyone? No, they didn't.) While typically my instinct would be to scream at my TV and tell my precious Mike to sit back and not engage with the drama, I love that he always did it out of love for Hannah and respect for the other guys, because he couldn't stand to see them upset or mistreated. Plus, the way he handled the Luke situation proves he can bring both romance and a little bit of spice to the show.
