The debate about public and private university has started again and this time, some Twitter users think its better to yab one another than argue over which university is better than the other.
The 2018 edition of the public vs private university argument got the usual online disagreement as tweets have been going back and forth to either attack or defend the universities.
It all started when a twitter user @Angel_phase literally called those who attend private university 'olodo' (empty heads).
The lady said that some people chose to attend private universities because their JAMB scores were poor and Federal Universities rejected won't give them admission because they are empty-headed.
The tweets obviously offended many twitter users, but many public university graduates agreed with her and the argument started.
Another thinks Private Universities are like glorified secondary schools.
Private university supporters won't take any of the ''insults'' thrown at them so they started taking shots.
And someone just had to drag NASU into the argument.
Some folks decided to stay out of the battle and rather talk about the state of education in Nigeria.
At the end of the day, the Twitter war has no basis, because the state of education in Nigeria is still nothing to write home about.
