We currently live in interesting times where
This is probably due to the fact that a lot of women feel like they have been mistreated by some men, including the Christian ones.
All of these raise the question — ‘what is the right way to treat women as a man, and a Christian guy in particular?’
Here is what the Bible says:
Treat women as your equal
It's common knowledge that many churches have twisted Genesis 2:18–20, saying that it means that the women are lesser than men.
The usual logic is that the woman was created to be a helper for Adam, but is that really what it says? Let’s look at it again.
Genesis 2:18–20 (NKJV) reads: “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helperto him. Out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam, there was not found a helper to him.”
This says “comparable to him,” while another says “could not find his opposite.”
Obviously, Eve is not a lesser being but simply another version of the man.

Women deserve respect
1 Timothy 3:11 says it all. It reads: “In the same way, the women are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.”
Women have purpose too
Many people grow up thinking a woman is only meant to get married, have children and that's it.
Jeremiah 29:11 says otherwise. It reads: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Note: It does not say, “I have plans for only men, women go to the kitchen.”
From the above verses, it is clear that women were never meant to be treated less but to be respected and honor.
