He said “The case of Atonye Peterside is that of a man with a bad case. A man who was caught pants down printing INEC election materials. Even the APC are struggling to cover-up their mess.
“We are aware that the Commissioner of Police in Rivers state is under pressure not to arrest those mentioned as sponsors of the printing press.
“We as the custodians of the 23 Local government areas of this great state have mobilized our people to be on standby to resist any attempt by anybody to try to cover up this mess of the APC, anybody that tries to sweep this under the carpet.
“Thank God INEC has come out to disown them and call for more investigation into the matter and we want to at this point join INEC in that call for the arrest and invesgigation of everyone whose name has been mentioned in this discovery.”
Also speaking on the issue, Governor Nyesom Wike alleged that there is a plot by INEC, the police and the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rig the December 10, 2016 rerun election.
