Nigerian workers deserve a living wage, in view of the current global economic downturn.

The National Assembly owes workers an obligation to pass the bill expeditiously to alleviate their sufferings, he said.

Oye urged President Muhammadu Buhari to complement the National Assembly equally accenting to the bill with urgency, whenever it was returned to him.

It is our hope that the president will be kind to grant the bill accelerated assent once the National Assembly passes it, he said.
