Moses Simon's Nantes extend unbeaten run with easy win over Montpellier

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon played his part as Nantes extended their unbeaten run to six matches in all competitions.

Nantes cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win over Montpellier courtesy of two second half goals from Kolo Muani and Willem Geubbels.

Nigeria's AFCON2021 star, Simon, featured for 90 minutes and could have added to his goal tally this season but was denied by the woodwork.

The 25-year-old, who started his 21st game of the season for the club, created three (3) chances, made three (3) key passes and completed three (3) dribbles.

Simon has scored three (3) goals and assisted seven (7) more for Nantes this season in the Ligue 1.

Simon and Nantes are fifth on the Ligue 1 table with 42 points, four away from fourth-placed Rennes, who sit in the final Champions League spot.
