It was indeed a challenging year, but you know what they say 'We what? We move!!". 

Now that 2020 is gone and we've transitioned into another year, how should you approach the new year? After making plans in 2020, most of which did not see the light of day due to Covid, many people will be tempted to approach the year cautiously, and you can't blame anybody for wanting to approach the year that way. 

But hey, why who says you shouldn't be audacious with your plans this year? Absolutely nobody! 

I was checking my Instagram the other day, and I stumbled on this inspiring TVC by DStv that says "2021, Time to come alive!" and immediately I watched the TVC, I knew I couldn't just approach the year with the" let's see how it goes mentality" I had planned. I was inspired to allow all the plans and dreams I have/had come alive this year. It's funny how a TVC can inspire you to be the best version of yourself.  

For DStv, coming alive In 2021 meant that The Nigerian Idol was going to hit the big screens again after a few years of inactivity (oh, how much I have missed that show), meant that their subscribers would have access to more films, TV shows, and sports, it meant creating new friendships and moments with loved ones, it meant trying out new things. According to them, they are fulfilled when they can help make your dreams and aspirations come alive. How thoughtful of them, right? I know!

Coming alive means many things to me as an individual; it means that big tech idea of mine will see the light of day, it means I will finally put in that application to you know, "greener pastures," and finally buying myself that thing (shall remain unnamed) that I have always wanted!. Yeah, that is what coming alive in 2021 means to me.
