Arthouse Contemporary is an international auction house whose speciality is art from West Africa.

Arthouse was founded in 2007 Kavita Challaram, and it hold auctions biannually in Lagos. The auction house encourages and attracts international recognition for its artists.

The auction on November 14, 2016 is to be held at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi Lagos. Some of the talented artists whose works will be featured are Ben Enwonwu, Ben Osawe, Yusuf Grillo, Bruce Onobrakpeya, Uche Okeke, Clary Cole, David Dale, Abayomi Barber, Jimoh Buraimoh, Kolade Oshinowo and Twin Seven Seven.

A statement from Arthouse says that top contemporary artists  such as El Anatsui, Nnenna Okore, Peju Alatise, Rom Isichei, George Osodi, Sokari Douglas, Ben Osaghae and Victor Ehikhamenor will also feature at the auction.

The statement reads: "The auction will also include five charity lots from celebrated artists Bunmi Babatunde, Diseye Tantua, Duke Asidere and Nyemike Onwuka, in support of the Arthouse Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims at encouraging the creative development of contemporary art in Nigeria."

The auction will be led by notable auctioneer, John Dabney and different types of artwork will be on display.
