9 Fashion & Beauty Mistakes That Age You

Ladies love to look good (sometimes extra glam) and the reason is usually to stay 'chic and young'  but sometimes, we overdo this and get it wrong aging ourselves in the process; God help any guy who guesses our age older!

There are several oopsies we make unconsciously but henceforth should avoid:

1) Wearing Your Hair Too Long

Oh dear, this never gets old, leaving our weaves flowing about isn't always chic especially when they are way to long, a classic bun/updo here and there gives our facial feature more prominence hence chic!

2) Dressing Too Young/ Too Old

We should always ensure to dress our age, a grandma in a body con for instance will look out of place; no matter how 'banging' her body is! Be age appropriate.

3) Ignoring Your Neck, Chest And Hands

In the quest to keep your face perfect, don't neglect your neck, hands and chest area, the neck for instance gives our age off easily ladies, take good care of the entire body as you would the face!

4) Wearing Too Much (or the Wrong) Foundation

Always check out the perfect foundation for your shade and do not overuse it!

5) Wearing Too Much Blush

Too much blush doesn't just look bad-it ages you! Go easy on them

6) Wearing Too Much Bronzer/Shimmer

Stay away from "frost" or "iridescent" eye shadow especilally if you want a youthful look, too much 'glitterati' ages you!

7) Not Using the Right Moisturizer

Always use the right moisturizer for your skin type, taking very good care of the skin makes it glow and consequently knocks years off you!

8) Dressing Too Trendy

Some  of us are guilty of this, we want to rock everything in vogue and end up overdoing it. Once something go out of trend we are left looking 'stale' oops! We can invest in classy, sophisticated pieces instead.

9) Being Nostalgic About Clothes

All the attachments we feel towards our favourite old dresses, tops, make-up and other skincare products should go! They don't fit anyways and its always good to de-clutter
