'Blood, Flood and Fire' by Alamutu Samiat

There’s blood the mountain,

They’re killing our brothers,

a massacre

in the hills.

there’s fire in our beds,

raping our sisters and daughters

our neighbors,

they’re invading our homes

we thought we were safe with you

there’s even a flood

at the market square.

the fire is spreading

the hills are bloodied

the flood is chasing us.
