Police foil second terror attack

This is coming after 13 people were killed and 50 others injured, when a car rammed into people at the Las Ramblas area of Barcelona on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

According to reports, the five men who were killed were wearing explosive vests and police have linked them to the Barcelona attack.

News sources say the international terror group, Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

According to BBC, the Spain's PM Mariano Rajoy has announced three days of mourning. He also  described the incident as Jihadist attack.

“In Cambrils, seven people, including a police officer, were wounded when a car was driven into them early on Friday,” BBC reports.

Police authorities have however announced that calm has been restored and everything is under control.
