Speaking at the anniversary to mark the "Peshawar attack" which happened a year ago, Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai said Donald Trump's comments were "full of hatred."

Malala who was shot in the head by the Taliban, feels Trump's comments would only "radicalise more terrorists," and restated her belief that only global quality education can "defeat the mindset of terrorism mentality and of hatred."

Some survivors of the attack also spoke at the event including a 13yr old who is paralysed from the waist down as a result of gunshot wounds and a 16yr old who had lost his sibling.

The President of Pakistan, his Prime Minister and Chief of Army were among several top leaders also attended the commemoration ceremony at the Army Public School, where the massacre happened.

More than 140 people mostly children died in the attack.
