Plus, cardamom can also help reduce inflammation and is a relative of ginger (a popular digestive aid). You'll instantly feel refreshed—and ready to tackle the rest of your day.

Makes 2 glasses

Ingredients:

10 raspberries

1 ripe mango, cut into chunks

3/4 cup coconut milk

3/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 tablespoon honey

5-8 ice cubes

Preparation:

1. Divide the raspberries between 2 glasses and crush a little using a spoon or fork. Place the glasses in the freezer and leave for 20 minutes to chill.

2. Place the mango, coconut milk, cardamom, honey, and ice cubes in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust the sweetness and flavor by adding more honey or cardamom.

3. Remove the glasses from the freezer, pour the smoothie over the raspberries, and serve.
