World Health Day this year is focused on keeping food safe due to the fact that there are so many types of pathogens causing food poisoning, from viruses, to bacteria, to parasites, in addition to toxins, pollutants, and heavy metals, it is only wise that we give you food safety tips.

  1. Cleanliness- It is important to keep clean in order to avoid food poisoning. Always remember to wash fruits, vegetables, utensil, and so on, properly.

  2. Separate raw food from cooked food.

  3. Use safe water- Be sure to use safe, clean water when dealing with food.

  4. Cook your food properly and thoroughly, do not hurry the cooking process, take your time in  order to ensure that your food is safe enough to eat.

  5. Always keep your food at safe temperatures as this prevent them from going bad.
