Fancy Acholonu dishes on how she maintains her enviable frame in an exclusive chat with Pulse.ng

The Nigerian-American model who’s worked with major brands including Tory Burch, Versace, Honda, Coca Cola and more shares the secret to her stunning figure with Pulse while eve sharing her all time green recipe that helps keep her in top shape while dishing on her workout routines that ensures she’s never out of shape.

The model who learnt to cook Nigerian foods at an early age loves her rice and stew anytime. On her diet, the model who spoils herself over the weekend with Nigerian foods like fufu and Okra revealed she carefully chooses her meals for the day!

My Breakfast choices include Avocado on toast, oatmeal with fruits, or egg omelette with vegetables; paired with green or earl gray tea. Lunch choices include Grilled wild salmon with salad, or chicken sandwich with salad; paired with a Kombucha drink or coconut water while my dinner choices feature roast chicken with steamed vegetables, or brown rice with shrimp or steak; paired with chamomile tea and a occasionally with a fine glass of red wine".

She also dished on her favourite healthy snacks as seaweed. Almonds and cashews. On her fitness and workout; "I exercise 5 days a week, I do different workouts so i don’t get bored of a routine.”  revealing her top three songs on her workout playlist right as Rihanna featuring Drake: “Work, Kanye west “Fade” and Techno “Pana”  Acholonu revealed.

On the type of workouts she does; I switch up my workouts I like to run three days a week for about three or four miles. I also love to dance. Dancing is the best workout, you move your body in so many ways so you get toned while listening to your favorite music. I also love doing yoga to build strength and feel peaceful.

On eating healthy and exercising; "sometimes i can’t avoid eating something that isn't so healthy and skipping a workout. I don’t give myself a hard time if I have a little treat or decide to sleep in and miss a fitness class. Having a balance is the key to success".

She shares her all time winning smoothie recipe that helps keep her in shape, naming it ’The Fancy Green Smoothie Recipe':

1 cup of water

1 cup of almond milk

1 cup of ice

1 cup of spinach

1 cup of kale

1 cup of organic vanilla protein powder

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Alternative if I have these ingredients handy:

Goji berries, Maca powder,cocoa powder, spirulina

Mix all in blender.
