A 12-year-old boy reportedly found a woman’s body hanging from a tree on his way home.

A 12-year-old boy reportedly found a woman’s body hanging from a tree on his way home after a night at the funfair. Metro UK reported.

Charlie Hollands, 12 screamed after he saw the body dangling from a tree in Guildford, Surrey, at about 9.30pm on Friday night.

A friend called police, and arriving officers cordoned off the stretch of road so others wouldn’t see the body.

After the ambulance arrived, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene shortly afterwards.

‘Charlie shouted at his friends. The older boys pulled him away and went and looked. Someone phoned the police,’ said Layla Hollands, 38, Charlie’s mother.

Charlie's mother added that he is fine.

'An investigation into the death, which is being treated as unexplained, remains on-going but it is not believed there is any third party involvement or any suspicious circumstances at this time.’ police added.
