The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Oyo state have jailed two drivers and persecuted over one hundred traffic offenders.
Over 100 found guilty in Oyo
Two people have been jailed, while 100 people have been persecuted for traffic offences in Oyo.
Mr. Yusuf Kolawole Salami, the State Sector Command, revealed this while on a visit to the secretariat of the Oyo State Council of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Iyaganku, Ibadan.
“Within the last one month, when we started the enforcement of the law that guides their operation, we have been arrested and prosecuted 111 tanker and trailer drivers for dangerous driving”.
He said to show the efforts of his command in ensuring safety and enforcements of traffic rules on highways.
