According to Deputy Corps Marshall In Charge of Operations at the Corps’ headquarters, Abuja, Mrs Ojeme Ewhrudjakpor, religious leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders and state governments really need to aid the road safety agenda.
She made this appeal during a visit to the FRSC Spokesman in the state, Mr Ado Adamu at the state Sector Command in Dutse.
There, she stressed the benefits of the device, which include, reducing loss of lives in road crashes, reducing deaths in speed-related accidents.
Based on these, she urged all motorists, especially commercial drivers, to install this device.
So far, the FRSC has installed speed limiters on only 57,000 vehicles across the nation, since the October 1, 2016 deadline.
