Ghana-based photo stream app, Suba, emerged as the winner of the Mobile West Africa 2015 App Developer Competition that held simultaneously with the Mobile West Africa main event.
Ghanaian app takes first place in app developer competition
The Mobile West Africa event is the premier mobile technology event on the African continent.

Suba is an event-based app, available on iOS and Android, which allows users share a collection of photographs taken from fun hangouts and gatherings on its central photo stream. It also allows users view picture uploads without being on people’s friend lists.
The app was incubated at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) in Accra, Ghana and was developed by NelsonKlutse and EricHackman.
Other finalists in the App developer competition were Whizapp – an android app that trains the brain on mental calculations, Taja, MOBicure, and Genii Games’ Asa – an app that aims to spark the interest of African culture and languages in children.
