Now we do know what Microsoft’s new browser will be called and some of its features.
The company has announced at its build conference that the new browser will the called the Microsoft Edge. The new browser will also be the default browser built into Windows 10.
Details are still few as to what makes Edge special and unique but here’s what we know:
- It has built-in Cortana support.
- It has built-in reader, note-taking and sharing features.
- The design focuses on simplicity and minimalism.
- The rendering engine is called EdgeHTML.
While no full-size images have been released yet, tech site Techcrunch was able to grab some images from the demo screen, at the build conference, as it debuted.
