Ex-First Lady taught pupils how to be virtuous women
Emmanuella Fashola, wife of the immediate past governor of Lagos state, recently mentored students of Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls on how to be virtuous women.
Founder of the College, Chief Leila Fowler, said this while reiterating the commitment of the college to ensuring the proper education of the girl-child.
The renowned educationist stated that there should be concerted efforts to train, nurture and develop the required capabilities and competences for the girl child.
Fowler revealed that Fashola, whose husband Babatunde Fashola, only last week handed over to new Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, spent a day with students of the college.
She said he former First Lady she exposed the girls to basic fundamentals of growing up as virtuous women
Fowler said her college has remained focused on improving the lives of the girl child both morally and academically.
