Three-time World Cup champion Sara Takanashi strengthened her grip on this year's competition with victory at Nizhny Taguil in Russia on Sunday, bouncing back from a disappointing third place finish 24 hours earlier.

The Japanese star saw off the challenge of Austrian duo, Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and Jacqueline Seifriedsberger to boost her bid for a fourth World Cup.
