Salford Red Devils CEO Martin Vickers denied the Super League team are poised to sign Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs second-rower Frank Pritchard.
Pritchard, 31, has been linked with a move to Salford in England throughout the Australian media.
But Vickers said the Red Devils, who finished 10th in 2014, were not looking to sign the New Zealander.
"We are very happy with the squad we have assembled and there is nothing in these stories linking us with another forward signing," Vickers told Manchester Evening News.
"We did try for [former Canberra Raiders captain] Terry Campese [who joined Hull Kingston Rovers] but this did not come off and there has been nothing since.
"I am aware of the reports and the recent speculation but that is all it is.
"We also have no more vacancies on the overseas register."
