The Wallabies have added almost 150 caps of experience to their squad via Matt Giteau and Wycliff Palu, plus debutant Toby Smith.
Matt Giteau and Wycliff Palu have returned to the Wallabies squad, bolstering the Australians for their Bledisloe Cup showdown with the All Blacks on August 8.
Michael Cheika's squad added Giteau, Palu and the uncapped Toby Smith - of the Melbourne Rebels - to his 31-man squad, after they preserved their unbeaten Rugby Championship status with a bonus-point win over Argentina in Mendoza on Saturday.
Cheika said it was all part of his plan to bring in Palu - rested from their first internationals of the season - as they bid to win back the Bledisloe Cup, a trophy that has eluded Australia since 2003.
"We have been able to look at a few different combinations during the first two rounds of the Rugby Championship and the squad is starting to take shape," Cheika said in a release.
"In additional to the 31 players, we'll be bringing some injured and fringe players into camp to continue their rehabilitation and manage their return to play. It's important that they remain connected and contribute to the group.
"Toby has had a solid season with the Rebels, and has been working really hard while the group has been away.
"Our intention was always to rest Wycliff prior to this camp, and he has come back in great shape and really eager to play."
