The St Louis Blues continued their impressive start to the NHL season, while the Anaheim Ducks finally started scoring.

A pair of goals from Vladimir Tarasenko saw the Blues to a 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets at MTS Centre on Sunday.

The Blues have five wins from their opening six games of the campaign, including scoring four times in each of their past four outings.

Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec stopped 37 shots, but third-period goals from Tarasenko and Carl Gunnarsson were crucial for the Blues.

Struggling to score were the Anaheim Ducks, but they got going in a 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Without a goal in consecutive games, the Ducks ended that run as Cam Fowler, Rickard Rakell, Mike Santorelli and Hampus Lindholm struck.

Elsewhere, a breakaway overtime goal from Lauri Korpikoski helped the Edmonton Oilers past the Vancouver Canucks 2-1.

New Jersey Devils coach John Hynes enjoyed his first NHL win as his team had a 2-1 overtime victory against the New York Rangers.

Goals from Marian Gaborik and Tyler Toffoli helped the Los Angeles Kings edge the Colorado Avalanche 2-1.
