The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in China, while there was some good news for Chicago Bulls fans.
The Charlotte Hornets claimed a 113-71 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in NBA pre-season.
Led by Al Jefferson and Nicolas Batum, the Hornets went on a 36-8 run after half-time as they secured their second win over the Clippers in China following Sunday's triumph in Shenzhen.
Jefferson posted 17 points, while Batum added 14 points and 10 rebounds in a double-double performance in Shanghai.
Chris Paul scored 17 points for the Clippers.
Elsewhere on Wednesday, Reggie Jackson tallied 20 points, while Marcus Morris and Reggie Bullock scored 17 apiece to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 114-91 win over the Chicago Bulls.
The news out of the Bulls camp, however, is that star man Derrick Rose has been cleared to begin non-contact activity as he continues his road to recovery.
Amir Johnson scored 19 points to help guide the Boston Celtics to a 109-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
The Atlanta Hawks remain perfect in pre-season following a 100-86 win over the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves edged the Toronto Raptors 89-87.
