Maria Sharapova took out time from her drug test failure controversy to relax on a beach in Mexico
Sharapova on Monday, March 7 admitted to have been notified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) of a failed test during the first major of the year in Melbourne.
A potential four-year ban awaits her, while a host of her sponsors have cut their association with her.
Nike, Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, German luxury car maker Porsche and the UN have all suspended their ties with her.
The 28-year-old tennis pro was however in a more cheerful mood as he spent time on the beach in a Mexico with her good friend Chelsea Handler.

She was seen dancing and having fun as she let her hair down at the beach.
