Jason Day has declared himself fit to play at the season-ending Tour Championship this week.
Hampered by injuries this year, Australian Day was forced to withdraw from the last week's BMW Championship due to a back strain.
Day - 10th in the FedEx Cup rankings - was nine holes into his second round at the Cherry Hills Country Club when he pulled out.
However, after making it through nine practice holes at the East Lake Golf Club on Tuesday, Day said he will take his place in the field as he attempts to win the Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup crown.
"My preparation isn't what I would like it to be and that is a little frustrating but I will be ready to give it a crack come Thursday," Day said.
"There are some issues with the back I have to take care of but they can wait till Monday and the off-season. Right now I am focussed and determined to win the FedEx Cup."
